• SMCC Philippines Inc. & Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Co., Ltd. Ribbon Cutting & Office Blessing Ceremony

    A fresher, much bigger and better office; SMCC Philippines, Inc. has officially moved out from Pioneer House Building to The Peninsula Court Bldg. 6F, 8735 Paseo de Roxas corner Makati Avenue, Makati City. This is to accommodate and give better workplace for the growing number of members of the SMCC family. The new office will also be used for both domestic and international trainings & seminars.

     

     

    The moving out has been inaugurated and confirmed through a ribbon cutting & office blessing ceremony held on April 30, 2016. This of course is history marked for SMCC because of finally saying farewell to Pioneer House after 20 years.

    The ceremony was attended by SMCC Philippines staff from Makati and various project sites and was graced by the previous GM, which is now the GM for Building of International Division, Mr. Hiroaki Iai.

    The event started at 11:00 AM through an opening messsage by Mr. Seishi Yamada, AGM of SMCC Philippines, followed by the Ribbon Cutting conducted by SMCC Philippines Inc., General Manager, Mr. Motohiro Aoki. Afterwhich, the office blessing was then given and led by Fr. Michael Villaflor.

    Inspirational message given by Mr. Motohiro Aoki - SMCCP GM

     

    The General Manager Mr. Motohiro Aoki gave an inspirational message for all specifically thanking the pioneering staffs and motivating the newly hired ones.


    Closing remarks were given by Mr. John Barrientos, QS & CSR Manager.


    Then the ceremonial toast was given by Mr. Dante Payawal.

    And finally, the event was concluded through the shouting of SMCC safety motto led by Tatay Horacio Ramos, SMCC Safety Manager.
